Orient Watch was established as a manufacturer of timepieces in July of 1950. The company legacy dates back to 1901, when founder Shogoro Yoshida opened a wholesale watch shop in Ueno, a commercial district in downtown Tokyo. For more than 50 years Orient has focused on marketing their brand globally, developing new products that meet the needs of a variety of customers.
