This handy food safety holder keeps fingers and knuckles away from the sharp blade of your mandoline. When gentle pressure with a thumb or finger is applied to the top button, prongs on the holder secure any size fruit or vegetable, or piece of hard cheese or meat, and allow the entire length of the food item to be sliced.
