First thing to note about cross-country runners: they don't mind a little mud on their shoes. Built for the high school athlete, the PUMA Crossfox XCS is a lightweight spike (more specifically, one of the lightest cross-country spikes ever to come out of the PUMA design team) that takes nature as its muse. Minimal materials like a transparent mono mesh upper and bonded internal structures for support add only what an athlete needs and nothing that he doesn't, while an abrasion resistant EverTrack outsole has lugs made for both uphill and downhill running. Our designers even built in a little inspiration, stamping "DIG DEEP" and "GET DIRTY" under the right and left heels, respectively.
