Published in the late 1700s, the Baronagium Genealogicum traced the lineage of the English nobility, illustrated by highly detailed engravings of family crests. Subtitled The Pedigree of English Peers , it was created by Joseph Edmondson, a genealogist and painter whose specialty was emblazoning coaches with heraldic coats of arms.
