Argentina's most famous blacksmith, José Thenée won international acclaim in the 1920s and 1930s for his works in metal. Throughout his life, he created hundreds of detailed schematics for items such as lighting, hardware and architectural adornments. Today, these drawings from his studio offer glimpses into the extraordinary, inspired mind of this master craftsman – and stand on their own as compelling, coveted works of art.
