This inaugural series features a selection of textile patterns designed by artists Josef Hoffmann and Koloman Moser; the black-and-white patterns were chosen for their bold, graphic quality with the intention that they could be mixed and matched with each other. The designs are adapted to decorate notNeutral's iconic LINO mugs, a set of four small plates, coasters, and wood serving trays. These entertaining pieces can be used with anyone’s existing white dinnerware as an ensemble, or one piece at a time to create an eye-catching table setting.

notNeutral has an ongoing partnership with the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City, to create products inspired by the museum’s collection. This second series features Spinne, a textile pattern created by Wiener Werkstätte artist Dagobert Peche between 1911 and 1917, reinterpreted by notNeutral in 10 vivid colors. Though the original textile design was conceived over 100 years ago, the, zigzag pattern is fresh and modern, adorning notNeutral’s iconic LINO mugs, small plates, wooden serving trays, and coasters. These entertaining pieces can be used as a set, or mixed with white dinnerware to add unexpected pops of color.
