A Cologne created as an echo to the work of Claude Monet: Au Bord de l'Eau. A mist of sparkling citrus, resting on green and woody undertones. Inspired by the signature work of Claude Monet, this perfume uses raw olfactive materials as if they were paint pigments. Like Monet's masterpiece, we alternate between the apparent realism of the zest of bergamot and lemon - it's freshness is mixed with the petals of the bitter orange and the more complex texture nestled below. The artist suggests, without defining, the contours of houses that are reflected in the water. To the hesperidia mist, Fabrice Pellegrin has added rosemary, an identifiable green note, violet and soft musk. 3.4 oz. Made in France.
A Cologne inspired by Edouard Manet's Dejeuner sur l'Herbe, evocative of an impressionist nature. A crystalline and solar freshness, softened with a touch of musks. Edouard Manet's Le Dejeuner sur l'Herbe provoked a real scandal when seen by art critics in Paris in 1863. Despite Manet's claims to classical art references, this scene, representing two fully dressed men with a naked woman picnicking in a forest, was considered as obscene by his contemporaries. It's this raw modernity that carried the perfumer, Fabrice Pellegrin throughout the creation of this Cologne's formula. It prompted him to reinvent neroli or rather, the distillation of the orange blossom petal plant, by injecting a saturation of light. He has placed at the heart of the cologne, a solar accord, to which he has added white musk and amber ingredients with an overdose of oxygen which blurs all preconceptions. 3.4 oz. Made in France.
