Hiroaki Shitano started WHIZ in 2000. Keeping the concept of “individual clothing” in mind, he established an original Tokyo street style brand which spans many categories. In 2003, WHIZ -- which started with handmade printed T-shirts -- changed its name to WHIZ LIMITED and opened its flagship store, LUMP TOKYO, in Harajuku with the objective of preserving the original vision and philosophy behind the brand.
