As much an object d'art as it is a practical home accent, Cire Trudon's L'Oeuf diffuser - or 'the egg' in French - is inspired by the eclectic cabinets of curiosities of the Renaissance. From its painted wood stand, the ceramic vessel diffuses Cyrnos − a scent inspired by the eponymous Côte d'Azur villa of Empress Eugénie circa 1894 where the aristocracy, artists and intellectuals would congregate in the shade of fig trees and parasol pines of its garden as they looked out onto the crystalline Mediterranean.
