The Hot Tub Temperature and Humidity Sensor with Wet Probe from La Crosse Technology will give users the ability to view ambient temperature and humidity levels that can affect the water and equipment for pools and hot tubs. Temperature and humidity levels can be monitored from a Smartphone, tablet, or computer and alerts can be set to send text/emails when pre-set min/max temperatures are reached or humidity ranges are exceeded. It can measure humidity from a range 3% to 99% (%RH) and temperature from -40\xb0F to 140\xb0F. The benefit of these alerts is that they can help prevent such things as frozen pipes and growing mold, or provide real-time water temperatures. Water temperatures can be measured with the included threaded wet temperature probe and tee adapter kit. Measuring intervals are defined by users during setup and can be set at 5, 10, 15, 30, and 45 minute intervals. The included wireless gateway has a 200 foot wireless transmission range from its sensor and is in a weather resistant case that can be wall mounted or used free standing. The gateway requires connection to a router (sold separately) with high-speed internet. The gateway connects to the router via the included LAN cable and automatically uploads data for remote 24/7 viewing from the La Crosse Alerts web portal. The sensor/transmitter is powered by 2 AAA batteries, sold separately.
