The same would hold true for Amanda Betz’ inclusion of this art form in Folded Vases. Cleverly bringing together the art of folding with ceramics, Betz garners both local and international acclaim for her ability to capture complexity in simple objects. She has a unique experimental approach and uses patterns and geometrical constructions to create spatial objects that reflect light and shadow. The design was selected by the Danish Arts Council to participate in the curated ‘Danish Crafts Collection CC19’, exhibited at Maison et Objet 2015.
