This is a watercolor painting inspired by a sunset scene at our family's cabin in northern Michigan. The play of color and light in the sky is captured and enhanced in this medium. The shimmering lake is rich with the reflection of the scene above. The dark clouds burn hot in the center from the fireball that just set below the horizon. The title comes from the old saying, Pink sky at night, sailor's delight.
