Zojirushi Micom electric tea kettle has a micro computerized temperature control and electric dispensing system. It has 4 keep warm temperature settings: 140, 175, 195, 208 F. This unit displays actual water temperature at all times. It is also has an energy saving timer function 6 - 10 hours and automatically turns on the boiler at a later time to save electricity. Steam-save function automatically lowers the power just before boiling to reduce the amount of steam emitting from the steam vent. Cafe' drip dispensing mode decreases the amount of water dispensed to 60% of the normal setting, making it suitable for brewing cafe' drip coffee.

• Automatic dispense-lock: A safety feature to prevent hot water from being dispensed when the dispense button is pressed accidentally, it is deactivated when the unlock button is pressed. The automatic dispense-lock will turn back on in about 10 seconds even if no water is dispensed
• Citric acid cleaning mode descaling mode: If water high in mineral or hard water is used, calcium tends to build up on the surface of the inner container. If scale accumulates, boiling may become louder than usual and/or water may not dispense smoothly. This mode descales the interior using citric acid. Citric acid cleaning is recommended once every 1-3 months of use
