For Balenciaga 's Spring '17 collection, Demna Gvasalia was inspired by a coat in the label's archive that Mr Cristóbal Balenciaga had started to make for himself but never finished. This oversized piece is padded at the shoulders to recreate the sharpness of a hanger, and fastens with a neat fly-front - a nod to more traditional styles. It's been made in Italy from wool-twill that's substantial but not stuffy. Balance it with slim trousers.
