DONAMA MALBEC 2019 The Donama Malbec was produced by a family-owned and operated winery in Argentina and they have a soft spot in our hearts. Similarly to Splash, this winery has been in the wine business for generations and its a labor of love and passion. In fact, Donama takes its name from the grandfather and patriarch of the winery, Don Amadeo Maranon (who was nicknamed Donama!) who originally built the winery almost 70 years ago. This insane Malbec is an Argentinian classic that lives up to Donama's legacy. Donama Malbec is a beautiful red-purple color with notes of red and black fruits, like plums and raspberry jam. The tannins are sweet and soft. The wine has a medium body, round mouth-feel and the perfect balance between fruit and oak notes. We recommend pairing with roasted lamb or a hearty charcuterie board. ABV 14% DELATOR MALBEC 2019 Delator Malbec 2019 has an intense red and violet color. There is a nice combination of red and black fruit aromas as strawberries, plums, and blackberry jam. It`s sweet and soft tannins are lovely in the mouth, medium body, round, and good fruit intensity. ABV 13.7% AMBICION CABERNET 2019 From its origins, wine has evolved over the years with the ambition to improve and express the terroir with each harves. AMBICION is a result of our history of effort and determination carefully selecting grapes, gently aging our wine in oak barrels, and elaborating it into an exquisite wine with great personality. ABV 13% AMBICION MERLOT 2019 Ambicion Merlot grapes grow in the alluvial soils of the Uco Valley in Mendoza, Argentina at an elevation of 1200 feet above sea level. A wide range in temperatures between day and night, and irrigation from the mineralized runoff from the Andes Mountains makes for excellent Merlot growing conditions. This wine is violet in color with deep blue hues and aromas of dark fruit, including blackberries, Morello cherries and currants. This wine has good structure with well-balanced, round tannins and a long finish. Because of the elegant, soft tannins, this wine pairs well with game meats (like rabbit or duck) and semi-hard cheeses. GUANACO WEST MALBEC There is a reason this wine is labeled Vino del Desierto or wine of the dessert- in the vast and relatively barren Mendoza desert of Argentina, not much grows except this ridiculously hearty and brazen Malbec grape. While some vines are fragile and require a tender hand to grow them, these Malbec vines are the sturdiest and nearly indestructible product of a harsh and unforgiving landscape. The flavor reflects this journey- deep, dark and juicy. Bursting with intense fruit flavors and inflections of oak. We recommend pairing with dark poultry or lean red meats.
